I keep the Oximeter, on the shelf with my other medical supplies (blood pressure cuff, etc). Since I am vulnerable to getting pneumonia, I need to check my oxygen rating when I experience noticeable shortness of breath. I know what my rating is "normally" therefore, any lowering of that count tells me something is going wrong with my lungs. Although the price was a bit higher than I had intended to pay, I feel this is an investment in my future health.
