If you struggle or avoid the bathtub due to your mobility impairment, the AmeriGlide Bathtub Walk-In Conversion Kit is the answer to your prayers!
By modifying your existing bathtub, you can now enter with ease and take a bath sitting or lying down. You no longer have to stand up in the shower or climb over a high bathtub wall! Our professional installers will do all the work for you, at no extra cost. They will simply remove a 27" section of the front bathtub wall and replace it with a pebble granite colored lip that's easy to identify for users with poor eyesight. The remaining gap in the tub wall will be 24 inches wide.
One of the most innovative parts of the AmeriGlide kit is the stainless steel door and rubber seal. Using several magnets that are placed onto the lip, it easily attaches to the steel and rubber to hold it in place and provide you with a strong, lightweight steel door and fantastic seal.
Consider an AmeriGlide Bath Lift if you have difficulty when getting in and out of your bath by yourself.
The installation process will take approximately 2 hours, and you will be able to use it after 24 hours have passed. Please note: We do not offer DIY versions of this Conversion Kit, so our installers will need to need to make the necessary changes for you.
Compatible with any kind of tub shell - steel, cast iron, and fiberglass! Conversions can also be made on garden tubs and jacuzzi tubs! Call us if you have any questions! NOTE: Installing this kit on a cast iron bath tub incurs a $75.00 surcharge.

US Medical Supplies are a pleasure to work with: HOWEVER I am not impressed with the instalation process.Delstal seems to be having trouble finding an installer to service me (3 weeks so far) Everyone at Delstal has been kind and courteous, but I have already paid for this and no action so far. I would recommend to others but with reservations
