This is my 2nd lift chair. With the other one, the seat was low I had to go all the way up to get out of chair. With this one, I can get up from the sitting position if I want without any problem.

Service has been almost non-existent. A couple days after I placed an order for a $1000 - $1200 chair, I finally got an email saying that order was received and why not buy our other products. No mention of when I should see my chair or anything. Finally about a week after I order I sent an e-mail asking for information. Next day I get will ship in about 2-3 weeks. I get the call from shipping carrier (still nothing from U.S. Medical) & chair is delivered on time. Chair brought in unboxed and in 2 pieces and left for me to assemble.
Finally hear from us medical 2 weeks later & it's tell us how great we are.

This was the best buying decision I have ever made. My very expensive sofa was cutting off circulation to my legs. Because of the design of the chair it completely soled the problem and my legs have lost much of the swelling already. The chair is very very comfortable. If you are a large person you will not be disappointed even if you do not have an underlying medical condition.

This chair is not soft and very firm .I did not have many a chair to choose from in my size therefore was unable to get the chair with padded arms.This chair is solid and safe for bigger people without question.If you are a larger person and or over weight and have lymphedema,had surgery and or have trouble standing...this is a solid choice.
