This is a light weight, clear one way speaking valve that allows the person with the trach to breath in and vocalize out. For my patient who was having to use his finger to occlude his trach it has made all of the difference.

It was difficult for the ENT and nursing staff to attach the slim plastic teather that attaches the cap to the converter band.
