While this chair is well made it is extremely uncomfortable. Too hard, the arms are too low and the head area pushes my head to my neck. I am not going to keep using this chair as it is too uncomfortable.

Medical retired from USAF - active duty and civilian service (May 2009). I needed some help to get out of my chair sometimes but not all the time. I needed a chair so I could sleep in it if I needed to and this fits the bill. Also, my old chair would not stay in a position so that I could watch TV. Now, I have the ability for total control of the back of the chair and how far it reclines while putting my feet and legs up and in a comfortable position. When we first got the chair it seem that I was sitting on a bowling ball, but the chair has started to break-in to me. I am a big guy (6'2", 245) and the motors in the chair work for me. All in all this chair is keeper.

My husband has always had a difficult time falling asleep but not in this Golden LiftChair. He reclines and within minutes is sleeping soundly. It is a comfortable chair and I wish I could use it more often, but my husband gets first dibs. The control piece is easy to use and never gets lost because it's attached to the chair. Large pictures on the buttons are self-explanatory and easy to see. I'm thrilled with our purchase. |
