The lift chair helps a lot with the lifting but the seat cushion is very firm and not comfortable. Also the arm rest could be a little higher. I think the patient could possibly fall out of the chair if they leaned over to far to the side.

I priced lift chairs from three sources and this was the best price. I was concerned that the quality wouldn't be very good, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I use this chair to assist my mother in standing and for comfort. She has Alzheimer's diseae and sometimes the brain fails to send the proper signals to help her stand. We were trying to get her up by other means and realized that it was hurting her. She loves this chair and it has really helped with my caregiving routine.

My Wife has Parkinson's and Lewy's body and is unable to work the controls. It does save the ligaments in my hand since I no longer have to lift her completely.

We purchased this pride lift chair for our mother who is in a nursing home when getting up from her old recliner became difficult. She loves it! I'm very pleased with the soft feel and color (deep blue) of the vinyl. It's a beautiful, comfortable, helpful chair. We're all very pleased. |

My mother is very happy with this affordable lift recliner chair. It is comfortable yet supportive and we've notice a great change in her chronic back pain almost immediately. It maneuvers smoothly and safely. I highly recommend it!

I Purchased this Pride C10 Classic lift chair for my 94 year old mother who happens to be mobile. Mom stuggles to get up from a sofa or any deep chair because of two knee replacements she received when she was in her eighties. Mom called me the next day and was so excited how easy it was to use the lift and she fell asleep in the chair without realizing it was the next day. The chair arrived on time as stated at mom's assisted living complex and I tested the chair and said to my mother it is so soft and comfortable that I would fall asleep in it myself. It's a great chair.

This is used for personal use. I do not need a lift chair yet, but I purchased one for my wife, locally. I did not like their attitude so I looked for a lift chair for me, on the internet. I am glad I did. When the time comes I must have a lift chair, I already own it.
