Beautiful chair

A Little About Myself	I'm a big guy. I suffer from gout periodically and have a hard time getting in and out of most chairs.
Pros	Nice covering. Beautiful chair. Sets up high and easy to get out of even without the lift.
Cons	Seat feels as if it is tilted forward when the footrest is in. When the chair is placed in a postion to fix the problem, the footrest is sticking out.
Service & Delivery	The first time we got the chair there was a fist sized hole in the side, so check your chair over for obvious problems before you let the delivery person go. The second time the chair arrived, there were no problems. Also, we experienced no problems with the return of the first chair.
We have the chair now and likely won't get rid of it as it is a spendy piece of furniture, but I don't think I would recommend this chair to anyone unless they couldn't get out of a normal chair.

A Little About Myself	Caregiver
Pros	Heavy and large enough
Cons	One of the worst features is the control because the cord is not long enough and always springs back. Hard to find and reach when in the chair. If someone is handicapped it's very difficult to control. Arm covers does not stay on nor the headpiece should have tacks with them or put on a heavier cover. The other bad feature is the legs are always hanging and that should not be.
Service & Delivery	GREAT Note not sure I can recommend it would depend on person using.
Please make these 2 major changes and you would have a great chair

As for the "leg hanging" problem, this is actually by design. Lift chairs are designed so that the heel should hang off the edge slightly. This allows the weight of your legs to be distributed evenly across the calfs and prevents muscle fatigue. Check out our lift chair footrest guide for a more in-depth explanation.

Review of GL-358L lift recliner after about one month of use
Harv from Issaquah, WA would not recommend this to a friend.
A Little About Myself	Retired male, of average weight and height. No physical limitations.
Pros	Quick delivery. Courteous service by sales person. Lift chair motor is very quiet. Covering is of good quality.
Cons	Lift chair is much firmer than other lift recliners I have. I was not told if there were options on this. The seat is quite as bit wider than needed. Probably should have gotten smaller size. Platform catches me at the back of the heel. I probably need extender.
Service & Delivery	Delivery OK. Have had no occasion for service, yet.
In retrospect, it would have better to purchase a chair locally, where I could try it out in person. The price was right and the Pride name is well known. There are several Pride products at the retirement residence where I live. If possible, I would like to exchange this for a different chair which serves me better.

A Little About Myself	Elderlyman of '79 years of age.
Pros	Very smooth liftchair. I like the look of it.
Cons	I didn't like that I had to pay for the lift chair to be delivered to my house. The delivery man said that he wasn't allowed to bring the chair in my house and had to leave it outside. The down arrow on the remote/keypad doesn't work and looks like it's been used.
Service & Delivery	Very poor
The price was good for a new chair.

A Little About Myself	89 years-old with spinal stenosis.
Pros	I absolutely love this lift chair. Made my life so much easier in getting up and down. The remote is fantastic.
Cons	None
Service & Delivery	The young man took it out of the box so he could get it up our ramp and he set it up in the house for me. It was delivered quickly so I could get it for a special Fathers Day gift.
Ordered this over the internet and was so pleased with the results. It was delivered quickly for me for a very special occasion. The chair is made beautifully and I love it. Thank You!

A Little About Myself	Wife of patient with congestive heart failure and dementia
Pros	This Pride Lift Chair is invaluable when assisting my husband to rise to a standing position. He often naps in the full reclining position instead of having to assist him to his bed. I use the chair after he goes to bed and I find it so comfortable. We ordered the chair in vinyl as my husband often spills things and it is great to just be able to wipe up the spills with no damage to the chair.
Cons	None so far.
Service & Delivery	The salesperson was very helpful in assisting with my order. The chair was received in a timely manner. I paid extra for delivery inside of my apt. and since my son was here visiting when it arrived, the delivery person and my son were able to get the chair inside the apt.
I had priced comparable chairs at local medical supply stores and there was a big savings by ordering online.

A Little About Myself	65 years of hard work, hard play, and wild horses.
Pros	Nice looking lift recliner works really well!
Cons	Takes a lot of room, because it has to be so far out from the wall.
Service & Delivery	The order got lost the first time I ordered it, but once we got that taken care of, it was here in about a week. When I got it, the transformer popped and burned out when I first plugged it in. I called for service, and they sent me a replacement on the next delivery day. It has worked very well every since.
I have been very happy with this chair.

Pros	Great service, the sales team stayed with me through the entire process and got the product there in good time. The price was right.
Cons	Both chairs were [the] same size, not one large and one medium. They were both medium but my uncle did not want to make waves so he sits in the medium one.

I would buy chairs or any product that I need from U.S. Medical Supplies.

A Little About Myself	Nice christian lady.
Pros	Nice looking vinyl. Easy to clean. Great for physically challenged person or senior citizen.
Cons	Does not recline far enough, and even though its for someone up to 6'tall, my husband is only 5'10" and his ankles hang over foot rest. Should have purchased lift recliner bed. Husband is not satisfied with this one.
Service & Delivery	Great.
Sales person great, but knew we needed a full recline chair.

I like my new liftchair.

A Little About Myself	Retired, elderly, and not very active.
Pros	Comfortable, smooth lift mechanism.
Cons	Seems a bit under built. Some shake while elevated. Fabric is kind of hard, will wear through your skin if left uncovered. Switch lights too bright. Switch very unhandy.
Service & Delivery	Immediate turned off, that I paid an extra $30 to have the chair delivered to the inside of my house. Driver wanted to leave it outside in snow bank. I had to call my nephew to move it. Driver stated his paperwork, that it said not to do any thing more than just drop it off. I believe that I should be reimbursed the $30 for in house delivery.
I really like this lift chair. Operates very smoothly and quietly. Upholstery needs upgrading. Switch needs further engineering.
