This pride lift chair came in very handy after surgery. I actually didn't use the lift part but did enjoy reclining and sleeping in the chair.

The chair served its purpose. I didn't need the lift but didn't know that at the time. It may come in handy at another time.

This chair is for my 92 year old mother. She couldn't get out of her recliner and her arm was very sore from pulling the lever up. Now its been a few weeks since she has had her chair and is doing very good. She says her back doesn't hurt as much now.

My wife and I bought 2 of these chairs in January of 2011. Within 6 weeks the heat and massage went out on my chair. About 5 months later her chair got stock in the full up position. It was like that almost 2 weeks before it was finally repaired. Then about 2 months after that a spring in the back of her chair broke and stuck out the back. They had to replace the whole back. Again about 2 weeks for service. In 2012 after the warranty had expired the padding came out of the back they had replaced. We fixed that ourselves. About 2 weeks my chair got stuck in the reclined position. The control box failed and it is not covered by any warranty so it will cost over 200$ to replace. Most of the good reviews you read are probably from people who haven't had their chairs very long. I will never buy anything from Pride again. If you but one of these chairs, buy as much extra warranty as you can. You will need it.
