The Elite Traveller Plus disassembles into 5 lightweight sections, the heaviest of which only weighs 32.5 pounds. This means nearly anyone will be able to load and unload their Elite Traveller Plus scooter. In addition, it uses auto-latching mechanisms that allow you to take it apart with only one hand. The long-range battery pack is also quick changing, meaning you can swap it out with a spare and stay on the go.
Once you are on your Elite Traveller Plus you will begin to notice features such as its tight turning radius, dual braking system, and computer-based controller that optimizes battery power and adds safety features. Other features include a standard front basket, front frame-mounted seat post, and interchangeable color panels so you can change the color of your Elite Traveller Plus whenever the mood strikes you.
The 3 wheel version features a tighter turning radius than the 4 wheel version.

| A Little About Myself |
I am a mid- 50's woman suffering from side effects to chemotherapy making it difficult for me to walk for even moderate distances.
| Pros |
Its zippy, stable and can be taken apart easily for storage inside a car, saving one from having to buy a lift for the trunk.
| Cons |
There's a little play in the steering column and in the seat.
| Service & Delivery |
Delivery was on time. I had no trouble assembling it myself. Directions were good. Glad I didn't pay to have it set up.
I love this scooter. I got it for traveling and ease of storing it in my car for use around town. It has exceeded my expectation, I am happy to say. If you purchase one, I don't think you will be disappointed.

| A Little About Myself |
Lower Back Pain & Working
| Pros |
I can put it together & take apart myself. It fits in the trunk of our car. Goes a long way before I need to recharge battery.
| Cons |
Wish seat could be raised & lowered. A bit high for me. Basket needs to be wider. It should be made to go a bit faster.
| Service & Delivery |
Was here in 2 days!
I have chronic lower back pain. I still work, but if I have to do a lot of walking, like if I wanted to go the Farmer's Market, I can't do it due to pain and needing to sit down every 2-3 mins. This gives me such FREEDOM to go places with my husband! If you can lift 50 lbs all by yourself, this should be no problem lifting in and out of the trunk of you car. My only complaint is that even by putting it over to the "bunny", I would like it to go FASTER. Oh, and a wider basket would be a plus.

| Pros |
Tighter turning radius. Interchangeable color panels. Wrap-around delta tiller handles. Auto-latching mechanisms that allow you to take it apart with only one hand. Disassembles into 5 lightweight sections. The heaviest of which only weighs 32.5 pounds.
| Cons |
Needs Louder Horn and possible outler for a light, (Low power consumption LED).
| Service & Delivery |
Fast delivery. Set It up myself in 15 Minutes. Everything just snaps together.
I have used this mobility scooter on long runs and the battery charge indicator has never gone below full charge. I wonder how much running at half-to-full power I can do, before the lights start showing discharge.

| A Little About Myself |
79 year-old of female with serious mobility problems, after multiple hip replacements that went bad.
| Pros |
This Pride Scooter is very comfortable and has plenty of leg room. It has swivel and multiple locking positions of seat, small turning radius, handles inclines well, attractive, solidly built, good mileage per battery charge, easy to disassemble and reassemble, and good instructional book. |
| Cons |
Have not found any to date.
| Service & Delivery |
The scooter was delivered quickly with amazing packaging.
The salesteam at US Medical answered all our questions and gave us assistance when we needed it. US Medical and the representatives at Pride were terrific. They answered the questions we had and immediately sent out several small items that were missing from our package of extra options. It is very comforting to know that these reps. are available if we need help. Considering the apparent quality of the scooter, we probably did not need to purchase the three year extended parts and labor warranty, but it seemed worth it for the peace of mind.

We really are very pleased with it and especially plan to use it for cruises. The scooter is comfortable, has easy to use controls, and gives me a very nice ride both on the roads and on the sidewalks. I particularly enjoy using the Delta tiller, which I much prefer to the standard tiller. It handles roads with fairly good inclines very well. In addition to all this, the scooter really is very attractive, solid looking, and best of all, it has enough room for my legs to be quite comfortable. I am not tall, but I have serious knee problems and cannot pull my legs back very far and do need to be able to stretch them forward a little. That was why we chose this model, it has a 40 inch length, rather than the 36 and a fraction of the less expensive models. It is well worth the extra cost. This was our first purchase from US Medical Supplies, but will certainly not be our last.

| Pros |
Easy to dismantel. Great (better then expected) battery power. Very good turning radius. Climbing incline good. Speed acceptable maximum. Stylish looking(I get lots of compliments on its looks). Comfortable seat.
| Cons |
Signal horn useless (need for a more audible sound). Need for rear shock absorbers (although this would raise the price). Should be raised somewhat for better ground clearance.
| Service & Delivery |
Delivery was a problem. The trucking Company was given 2-wrong telephone numbers and they were not able to call and reach us to schedule a delivery day. I had to drive to the trucking Company to pick up the Pride Scooter. Needless to say this was frustrating, not to mention the miles I had to travel to pick it up.

We did extensive research before buying our Pride GoGo Elite Traveler Plus. We could not make a better choice. This scooter is for my wife and she loves it. The smile on her face as she now is able to go where she could not go before is something we thank Pride for

| Cons |
Can't find a weakness
My wife has spinal stenosis and cannot walk for long periods without severe back pain. We used to walk every where together and we had to stop a few years ago. Since this scooter has arrived it has changed our lives and she can now "scoot" next to our new grandsons carriage. The ease of breakdown is outstanding and I can fit this in a trunk of a small Toyota Echo! I had done a lot of research on scooters and this came up as the best I found for all around use and travel and your pricing was great. THANK YOU! |
