My elderly mother had problems with the release handle, she would get her hand pinched in between the bed and safety rail and it was hard to raise & lower while lying down. However it did keep her from rolling out of bed injuring herself while sleeping.

Provides support for stroke patients. Balance is affected in stroke patients and this gives me the confidence I need to get in and out of bed on my own.
