Install a stair lift from AmeriGlide and you never have to worry about getting up and the down the stairs in your home again. Sit down in the swivel seat, put your feet on the footrest, and press the button. You will be gently moved along your stairs until you reach the top. The reverse is just as easy. With a stair lift from AmeriGlide you will not have to leave the place you've worked so hard to create, your home.
This is why we feel an AmeriGlide stair lift is worthy of being installed in your home:
1. AmeriGlide stair lifts are strong: Aircraft strength cables and high strength aluminum track give you a stair lift with a capacity of 300 pounds.
2. AmeriGlide stair lifts are reliable: The motor and gears have been tested for the equivalent of 16 years and showed only minimal wear and tear. We back them up with an industry leading 10 year drive train warranty and 5 year parts warranty.
3. AmeriGlide stair lifts are safe: We know our stair lifts are for carrying people, so we've added plenty of safety features such as a footrest sensor, a seat belt lock, end of track limiters, slack cable sensors, and a motor with instant reverse capability. In addition, this model carries the ETL safety seal and meets ASME A17.1 and A18 requirements.
The AmeriGlide DC Powered stair lift plugs into your household outlet for power, but runs off an internal rechargeable battery. A DC unit is ideal in situations where the area you live in is subject to frequent brownouts or blackouts.
- Runs on maintenance free rechargeable batteries. Works even in a blackout!
- 300 pound weight capacity if track is 18 feet or less
- 250 pound weight capacity if track is more than 18 feet
- Factory prepared for easy self-installation. No special tools or skills required.
- No unsightly structural work needed, fits direct to your stair treads - not the wall
- 10 year warranty on drive train
- 5 year warranty on all component parts of the lift
- Attractive almond finish with light grey vinyl upholstery.

A Little About Myself |
Pros It is easy to fit, and the sales rep made measuring it a breeze. It provided peace of mind, my friend is so excited that he can now go upstairs as many times a day as he would like. Before it was 1 trip up and 1 down. |
Cons The install did not take long but it did take them along time to get around to it.
Almost 2 weeks. |
I researched a lot of these stairlifts and they ranged anywhere from 1500. / to 8500.00, when the reason to increase the price sometimes made sense and others not really, our decision was perfect for our situation. |

A Little About Myself Daughter |
Pros Stores Easily, Strong Support, Functional, Safe |
Cons |
I purchased this stairlift for my elderly father. He cannot safely go down 26 steps by himself. He depended on my mother to get the mail at the bottom of the stairs. This was the best thing for him. I don't have to worry about him falling down the stairs, anymore. |
