Safely enjoying your bath shouldn't have to cost a lot of money. This was AmeriGlide's motivation when it developed this bath lift model based on its high-end Premium bath lift. It uses a compact frame built with aluminum components and a high-strength, one piece polymer body. What's more, you can install the AmeriGlide Bath Lift in just minutes because it uses suction cup feet. Safety features aren't an afterthought, either, because this lift has the same intelligent controller that the AmeriGlide Premium Bath Lift has.

A Little About Myself	85 year-old arthritic lady
Pros	Perfect...this bath lift works very well and is comfortable.
Cons	I'm a little nervous about the fragility of the connector plugs.

No longer afraid to take a bath!

Pros	It's easy to use and affordable.
Cons	None so far

A Little About Myself	Caregiver/ Mother to 35 yr. old son w/ Cerebral palsy
Pros	It works great in getting him in and out of tub, as it was getting harder to lift him out even though he weighs only 95 lbs. Runs very smoothly and quietly, in going up & down. The suction cups hold's it steady in the tub.
Cons	Really don't have anything negative to say.....I have used it for 2 weeks and it does exactly what I hoped it would do.
Was hesitant to order online after only viewing a photo, but I am Very pleased w/ results.

Bath Lift

A Little About Myself	Son taking care of 90 year-old mother.
Pros	Width of flaps and height for a whirlpool bathtub.
Cons	Could be 1 to 2 inches higher and wider, but stll the best fit I could find. Also an open (weave) back rest would be an improvement to allow use of back water jets.

I can use my jetted tub again!

A Little About Myself	72 year-old arthritic, with Fibromyalgia & Parkinson's.
Pros	I love my new Ameriglide Bath Lift. I had to take only showers, and was very anxious when getting in and out of the tub. I really missed using my jets and relieving some of my pain, but my arms are not strong enough to get me in & out since having both shoulders replaced.
Cons	I wish the chair went down further, and that there was a way to feel the back jet.
Service & Delivery	The Customer Service representative I talked with, was very helpful and extremely pleasant. Delivery was right on time.
I am very happy with what I have and consider myself very fortunate to have found the lift chair.

Pros	Minimal assembly. Actually comes put together in the box. Fast delivery.
Cons
Saved my back from lifting my mother out of the tub. The salesteam were great on the phone. Worked fine in our "clawfoot" tub. Bath time is much easier for mom & me. I'll use it when my husband has his knee replacement. Great product.

A Little About Myself	Have Rheumatoid Arthritis
Pros	Works as described.
Cons	The Bath Lift frame and suction cups uses several inches of water that you sit above in your bathtub. You can't lay back and soak unless the lift is removed from the tub. You would need an extra deep and extra large tub. Since it is not returnable you best be sure you can use it. It is very hard plastic and uncomfortable for arthritis sufferers.

I wish the sales person had been upfront about not being able to return the lift. Even though it's on the website not everyone reads the entire site. Also they should mention tub size issue, and all I wrote in the con comments. It definitely would hurt sales to really have a good conversation with the commissioned sales person.
US Medical Supplies replies: Thank you for your review. We do offer a bath lift that reclines, the AmeriGlide Premium Bath Lift. This lift allows you to lay back in your tub without getting off the lift. When it comes to the seating surface of this lift, either a seat base cover or a full seat cover can be added to this lift for increased comfort. These items can be added after the fact as well. I understand your frustration with the return policy on the bath lifts. Unfortunately there is no way to recondition and resell a bath lift that has been used. Any reputable company that allows bath lift returns typically destroys the lift. The cost for these destroyed lifts must be added to the cost of the lift for other customers. In order to offer the lowest prices, we unfortunately cannot accept returns.

A Little About Myself	83 year old-trying to stay young.
Pros	First, the gentleman who took my order via telephone order was very helpful, pleasant and efficient. Delivery was as it was told it would be. The lift was for my wife and she is completely satisfied, and now again enjoying the ability to bathe in the tub again. The chair in the shower was a bummer.
