All SleepSafe beds come standard with a premium memory foam mattress from Mason Medical. This mattress, the ShearCare 1100, alleviates pressure points and supports the user's entire body for all day comfort.

The ShearCare 1100 uses foam layers to provide multiple areas of comfort and support:

• Top Layer - Memory III Visco Elastic Foam for maximum comfort and stability
• Torso Middle Layer - Medium Densirty Solid Center Core for additional comfort and support
• Heel Layer - High Reslience, Low ILD Foam for pressure reduction
• Bottom Layer - High Density, High ILD Foam for stability

 

The ShearCare 1100 also incorporates foam supports on the sides of the mattress to make transferring easier. The mattress has a top cover made from Unitek Nylon. This stretch nylon cover is fluid resistant, anti-microbial & anti-bacterial, and fire-retardant (Cal 117).
