Caregiver
|
| Pros |
Safe. Lightweight. Sturdy. Comfortable.
|
| Cons |
Cord is too short.

My father uses the product. He suffered acute renal failure and is recovering but very emaciated and weak. The liftchair helps conserve his limited strength. The lifting remote/cord is a bit too short. The chair is very comfortable. |

I couldn't get out of any other comfortable chair without having great strain on my shoulders from lifting by my caregivers. Now I have a boost that helps everybody. Excellent snooze spot.

| A Little About Myself |
Caregiver, Elderly, Average Health
|
| Pros |
Reasonably priced, Good Quality, Safe, Attractive piece of furni, Sturdy
|
| Cons |
Needs deeper seat
|
|
Assist patient to stand from and sit in the chair and assist caregiver to raise and lower patient. In retrospect should have purchased the chair with the ability to raise footrest and not move the chair back. This would assist patient to eat and drink. Quality of leather is good but could be softer. Seat needs to be positioned so the patient sits back further into the chair before reclining.

My mother who complains about everything loves the chair. She lives in the chair including sleeping in it at night because of her physical problems. Most every time I visit her she makes comments about how much she loves the chair and how comfortable it is. It's great knowing she approves of something I done.

I had my hip replacement removed because it was infected. For 8-10 weeks I could not walk. This chair made it possible for me to stand up and use my walker. Even when my new hip replacement was put in 10 weeks later I still need the liftchair to get me up easier. This chair was a great value and it is very comfortable, since I slept in it for months. Talk about getting your moneys worth, this chair paid for itself many times over. |
