The AmeriGlide Rave is an ultra-compact stair lift designed to make restoring accessibility to your multi-level home as convenient and easy as possible! Homeowners with exceptionally narrow stair cases will love the ultra-thin design of this stair lift. The lift unit takes up only slightly more than 11 inches when folded, allowing able-bodied housemates and guests optimal access to the stairs. The AmeriGlide Rave is built for durability, with a tough all-metal case construction that withstands normal wear-and-tear far better than other comparable stair lift brands. The powerful worm-rack system can safely transport up to 350 pounds of user weight, and an adjustable-height padded seat with durable folding arms ensures that you will remain comfortable during transit - the seat measures in at 19.5 inches wide and 14 inches deep.
The AmeriGlide Rave differs from many of our competitors' stair lift units in that the track attaches to the stairs themselves rather than the wall, and every point of contact uses a single bracket, making installation easier on homeowners and handymen. The Rave is compatible with any standard household power outlet, and the battery that powers the unit charges at the top or bottom of the track, providing a reserve of power that keeps your stair lift going even in the event of a power outage. An arm-mounted operation switch is included as a standard feature, along with AmeriGlide's standard array of safety switches that prevent the lift from operating if an obstruction blocks your path. The seat swivels at the top, away from the steps, so the rider can safely exit or enter the stair lift.
Best of all, the AmeriGlide Rave lifts are assembled in the USA, which means quality you can depend on.
Stair lift users need a unit that is safe, comfortable, reliable, and easy to install. The AmeriGlide Rave satisfies all of your needs. To order, contact our mobility specialists today!

Pros easy install |
Cons Get the Harmar Instructions!!! Ameriglide are somewhat difficult to follow. |
Service & Delivery 1 week delivery. |
First, five (5) stars to Curtis (Tech Support) and Kevin (Sales). Remember these names if you need help. We installed 2 Ameriglide Raves ( Harmar Pinnacles). It was rather easy, with the 2nd one only taking a couple of hours. (If you don’t have any installation experiences, just really take your time and remember those names.) Some lessons I learned: 1. Get the Harmar Pinnacle installation instructions and look at the videos at least twice. 2. Check all part before doing anything. I missed a missing “limit cam” and had to call Curtis for a quick replacement. 3. You will spend about 40%+ of your time getting the 2” clearance for the track. After over an hour playing with the rail I ripped a piece of lumber into a 2”x2”x6’ board and taped it to the bullnose of the middle threads. That gave me the correct height and I was able to easily put the bottom and top brackets on, then fill in the rest. Next time(??!!!) I will use a cinder block to hold the bottom of the rail from sliding – the rails are heavy and gravity always wins. 5 get a magnetic nut driver or extension – will have you a lot of time. 6. Check your Allen Wrench set to make sure you have a 5/16”. 7. Be careful plugging the connectors in – they can be pushed into the chassis and then you have to open the chassis and waste a lot of time. 8. Be aware that the remotes are all on one frequency, so with two stair lifts calling for one to come down brings both of them down. 9. You only need to remove 1 plastic rack in order to slide the chassis on. Be careful – the chassis is rather heavy and you don’t want it to freefall down the rail. 10. Get someone to help if possible – the parts are heavy. 11. After doing your own test, retighten brackets, seat, etc. Hope this helps, and it is a thrill when all is done and folks are using the lifts. Modification I will do is to add small paddles to the lever used to swivel the seat to make it easier for folks with shorter arms to grasp. Overall, great support, easy installation and lifts work very well – good product. |

A Little About Myself Needing a knee replacement |
Pros Allows access to our second floor. I come down in the morning without starting off with pain. |
Cons It's a bit slow and bigger then we had hoped. |
Service & Delivery We had installation and were not disappointed in our installer. The delivery of the unit was problematic. It was dropped off at the door. There were several huge boxes and, with both of us being in our 70's, it proved difficult to move it all in the house. Our installer showed up quickly, did a remarkable job and was pleasant to be around. |
We ordered double seats due to cost and a staircase that turns and has a landing. Works well for us. |

A Little About Myself 84 knee and foot problems |
Pros Bought two sets, easy to install 2 men 4 hours, work good , serve it’s purpose ,glade to have order them, |
Cons Got four boxes on time, Had paid a guy to come help my Son to install them on Sat cause it was suppose to arrive on Friday for $150, had to pay another $50. For a total $$200, for him to come on Tuesday after paying $400, for shipping and not arriving on time I feel they should refund me $200, for it not getting here on time |
Service & Delivery Service but delivery not so good if you are installing it your self or a family member ,you won’t mind waiting, But if you hire some one , Make sure you have all the parts ,one chair comes in 3 boxes, 2 in 6, before you get some one to install it, It will take two Man 4 hours to install Two, chairs lifts work great so far |
Don’t depend on this arriving on time, other then that , it works find, |
USM replies:
Thanks much for the review. We have often considered dropping our rush services because the carriers themselves, FedEx and UPS, often let us both down and give US Medical a bad name. Totally out of our control and the carriers will never refund any money for their poor service. Considering once again dropping "rush" service. |

Service & Delivery Less than perfect, but still working it out. Hopefully, nothing a few phones calls can't resolve. |
I am waiting for a reply from Scott to get this right, but hopefully once we get over this minor mistake, it will be a great buy. Definitely worth the buy to prevent an accident on the stairs with mobility handicap people. |
