Product Description
Pride's Elite Traveller Plus series is a redesign of the Elite Traveller series that adds increases in length and width for a more stable ride and increases in weight capacity so that more people can take advantage of this great scooter. Additionally, the wrap-around delta tiller handles are great for individuals with larger hands or those who have limited dexterity.
The Elite Traveller Plus disassembles into 5 lightweight sections, the heaviest of which only weighs 32.5 pounds. This means nearly anyone will be able to load and unload their Elite Traveller Plus scooter. In addition, it uses auto-latching mechanisms that allow you to take it apart with only one hand. The long-range battery pack is also quick changing, meaning you can swap it out with a spare and stay on the go.
Once you are on your Elite Traveller Plus you will begin to notice features such as its tight turning radius, dual braking system, and computer-based controller that optimizes battery power and adds safety features. Other features include a standard front basket, and a front frame-mounted seat post.
The 3 wheel version features a tighter turning radius than the 4 wheel version.

Greatblue7 from Missouri would recommend this to a friend. |
A Little About Myself retired with multiple health issues but not dead! |
Pros Great scooter for indoor use and outdoor. This is my second one. The first one lasted about 8 years and is still running but being used in the yard for so long, it is not suitable to use in public with all of it's battle scars. Easy to take apart for travel and everyday errands. This scooter is large enough to be comfortable and the larger batteries are a great benefit for longer charges. Love the larger tires. |
Cons Although it has more ground clearance than most scooters, an additional inch would be great. Bring back the extra padding in the seats like my first model. |
Service & Delivery Great service and timely delivery. The delivery man was horrible as he flipped my scooter over and over in the box up my ramp when it clearly said "this side up". Thank goodness Pride packaged this so well that it withstood the abuse of the 300 lb. delivery man. Clearly he could have delivered it with ease up my ramp with a dolly. |
You can not go wrong by purchasing this sturdy scooter that is simple and durable. |

A Little About Myself 59 year old with broken hip |
Pros Great speed, turning circle, comfort. |
Cons Kind of tricky to plug charger in, because socket is low. |
Service & Delivery Excellent |
Difficult choice between 3 and 4 wheel. 4 would be more stable. 3 is good for going on the bus. |

WOW - GREAT |
This is my 3rd GO-Go Pride scooter(3 wheeler) in ten years. Its small, turns on a dime, very light to handle & pick-up & put it in my Honda Van with the greatest of ease, plenty fast for me. Clean them up & after four-five years, give to Independent Living Homes for others able to use within the home, etc.to use |
US Medical Supplies replies:
Nice Tom! Great scooter, for a great guy! I'm sure the independent living homes appreciate your donation. |

Ed the Ham from 1870 Gwin Rd., McKinleyville, CA, 95519 would recommend this to a friend. |
A Little About Myself 81 years old, I use a walker so scooter is great. |
Pros Nice handling. I like the stop-start function on the tiller bar. I like the speed control knob. |
Cons The roads here in McKinleyville have a very large aggregate in the paving. The solid tires give a very bumpy ride on these roads. |
Service & Delivery Excellent delivery and packaging. |
I bought an aluminum ramp for my VW Vanagon so I can take my scooter other places than home. |
US Medical Supplies replies:
Thanks for the review Ed! Sounds like you're happy, but just so other shoppers are aware, a 4-wheel with suspension would be a bit smoother on bumpy pavement. |

A Little About Myself disabled but refuse to stop traveling |
Pros Very easy to disassemble and reassemble, Comfortable seat and the mileage on a full charge is fantastic. Outstanding product for the price. |
Cons The throttle is too sensitive at low speed, you can go very slow but then it kick up and if faster than anyone you are walking with. There is no suspension and I have severe spinal conditions so I had to buy a seat post shock absorber from England because I could not find one in the U.S.A |
Service & Delivery It was an online purchase and shortly after I got an e-mail coupon, I called and Heather was absolutely excellent and said she would call me back as soon as she had an answer. She called back within an hour and honored it. A few day later I called for a tracking number, Heather again exceeded expectations in every way but a tracking number was not in your system yet but the shipper should call within 24 hours of delivery. The next day FedEx delivered the machine with no warning and literally just tossed it on it's side on my steps (even though it is clearly marked this side UP)Also if I had received a call I could have requested of the shipper to drop it in the driveway at the out building behind the house, that way opening and assebbly would have been much easier. I called again to complain and got a Salesman, he was a bit rude (I can only assume because I told him it was an online purchase when he asked who my salesperson was) and told me I should never expect a call from FedEx and me Pride packs the scooters well and it should be OK then told me I should have call FedEx to complain. I had to open the box sideways on my steps and unpack it there, very hard to do foe a disabled man. Fortunately although the Styrofoam was badly damaged and the battery pack had actually broken completely through and was sitting on the chassis the scooter was undamaged. Despite FedEx and the Salesman everything else went well and I can not compliment Heather enough on her professionalism and kindness. She is an absolute asset to your company. |
I had rented a Victory 10 prior to buying this unit and loved it but the Victory 10 is not portable plus it is $1000 or more than the GO-GO Traveler Elite Plus. For the price it is a fantastic machine and if you do not require a suspension I highly recommend it. |
US Medical Supplies replies:
Thank you for your review, and we're glad that you had a great experience with Heather. We apologize for the way FedEx delivered the scooter. Unfortunately, we don't have much control over how the scooter is delivered, unless it's one of the larger Pride Scooters. We have spoken to the sales agent you are referring to and taken appropriate action as well. |

A Little About Myself I am a mid- 50's woman suffering from side effects to chemotherapy making it difficult for me to walk for even moderate distances. |
Pros Its zippy, stable and can be taken apart easily for storage inside a car, saving one from having to buy a lift for the trunk. |
Cons There's a little play in the steering column and in the seat. |
Service & Delivery Delivery was on time. I had no trouble assembling it myself. Directions were good. Glad I didn't pay to have it set up. |
I love this scooter. I got it for traveling and ease of storing it in my car for use around town. It has exceeded my expectation, I am happy to say. If you purchase one, I don't think you will be disappointed. |

A Little About Myself Lower Back Pain & Working |
Pros I can put it together & take apart myself. It fits in the trunk of our car. Goes a long way before I need to recharge battery. |
Cons Wish seat could be raised & lowered. A bit high for me. Basket needs to be wider. It should be made to go a bit faster. |
Service & Delivery Was here in 2 days! |
I have chronic lower back pain. I still work, but if I have to do a lot of walking, like if I wanted to go the Farmer's Market, I can't do it due to pain and needing to sit down every 2-3 mins. This gives me such FREEDOM to go places with my husband! If you can lift 50 lbs all by yourself, this should be no problem lifting in and out of the trunk of you car. My only complaint is that even by putting it over to the "bunny", I would like it to go FASTER. Oh, and a wider basket would be a plus. |
