Made in America
The AmeriGlide AC Cargo Lift is a great addition to any storage room, warehouse, manufacturing plant, or other commercial building. This strong and sturdy cargo lift is designed to be installed on an existing staircase and is rated for transporting 350 pound loads. You can customize the track length to fit your staircase and enjoy the security of limit switches that will automatically stop the lift when it reaches the top or bottom of the stairs. (If the track length is over 16 feet, the weight capacity is reduced to 250 pounds.) This model runs off of a 115 VAC household current, so all you have to do is plug it into an existing electrical outlet. No major renovations required. When not in use, the space saving platform folds up and out of the way.

Cons

Quality problems

Service & Delivery

Delivery excellent and quick.
The metal cover on the top end of the track was bent bad and screws had pulled out. Box had no damage, was packed that way. Straightened in shop with a hammer and anvil. 90 degree clip that fastens chain cable to track was factory installed upside down. The four holes in the main motor frame box which the seat/cargo carrier fasten to did not line up. two did, two did not. had to loosen entire case around motor and still had to use a center punch to line holes up. had to run screws up from bottom of brackets instead of top down. only way to get the cargo carrier holes to fit. Either motor unit brackets were not bent right or the holes were just flat drilled wrong. Will have problems when I try to mount chair after we are done with the cargo unit. Will have to cross that road when I get there. Once installed, unit performed as expected.
